A wide variety of smartphone and tablet applications (‘apps’) are now available to people with diabetes to help them effectively manage their condition. For example, many apps have been developed to help people with diabetes track their blood glucose levels and exercise. With the wide range of apps on offer, people with diabetes can choose according to their needs and experience with smartphones, and these tools can easily be integrated into everyday life with little or no cost.
